One week to go!
« on: March 18, 2017, 02:42:52 PM »
I head out next Saturday, stay overnight at a hotel next to the Charlotte Airport and drive the next day to get to Georgia Hunting camp around 3pm.

Oil in the CRV, changed! Air pressure, checked. Wiper baldes, good. Waher fluid, full.

Tomorrow I put my hunting duds in those vacuum seal bags to conserve space. Shotgun back from gunsmith. Ammo all set.

GoPro and other cameras i wil fiddle with tomorrow.

Yeti Tundra, Two 20 Hopper all set. i will freeze my Yeti blue ices. Tomorrow to shop for vittles to take to camp.

I will stay in Charlotte on the way back and should be home a week from today.

Looks like rain in the am for most days I am there. Temps in the low 40's climbing to the high 70's with sun and dry after the morning.

Can't think of anything else but to get through this week.

Working  NYC, ugh. I think the people there are getting worse since Bloomberg left, really.

Flint - That is about the same time I pull into the GA Hunt Club....one week to go....cannot wait, have gotten my out of state license bought a few weeks ago and the Generator (Honda 1000) is in the truck already. Will slowly start packing and will do both Turkey Hunting and some Coyote hunting while I am down there....

With all the Logging going on on our property, it sure will be strange seeing the land when I get there...WOW...Split Toe will take a trip down there a few days before and will report back to the other members in the club...

Still not sure on what to take down for yote hunting....a 223 or a 22 WMR...or maybe a 22-250.....it has to be light and agile...maybe a 308, just kidding...
Love my Benelli's for those Terrible Toms!! Especially if they attack the decoys!!

Hope to see a bunch of TH buddies down there....Saturday Night Steaks!!! Yippie....
