I am keeping an eye on them yet.  Once I got my brain switched from a big bore like the .357 Benjamin Bulldog to the .25 cal family, the Hatsan Bullnose still seems to be my best option in a bullpup without spending obscene money.  The Hatsan AT44 and Umarex Gauntlet are a couple of other cost effective .25s if you don't have the need for a bullpup.  If Midway gives me another good deal around my birthday I'll be looking at putting a Bullboss in my cart.

$1500 would be a tough pill to swallow for an airgun IMO. that is unless there are unlimited resources like you and bo @--0--0105

Heck yeah, you have no idea how stressful it is to figure out how to allocate these unlimited resources!   --099-780 --099-780 --099-780

But yeah, the PCP airgun thing is pricey for sure, way beyond a RedRyder and a tube of BBs and a few tin cans.  A couple of manufacturers are making some lower cost guns available with decent performance.  If you're willing to get a workout with a hand pump, you could get in the game for $5-600 (yeah I know, still seems crazy for a pellet gun on steroids)
