I never hunted hogs. I love bacon  but hogs seems like more pork than I would ever need. When I was hunting Deer in Hawkinsville Ga way back when,  a massive amount of hogs walked by. I was sitting on the gound. I heard  they can turn on you so i let them all walk away. It also messed up my deer opportunity that day

I'm not on board for a heli-shoot. I'm not going to say anyone else shouldn't if that's what the consensus is; it's just not my thing.

Roger, I was a Huey crewchief both in the Army and National Guard, so I have spent plenty time around and in them.  Wouldn't mind flying in a helicopter again, for old time's sake, but no way I would spend that kind of money to shoot hogs from the air.  Just remembered that in my Guard unit, the gun section was affectionally called "Hogs" lol

wow! that has skyrocketed. --7-8-9 I remember watching  a show that was advertising $300-$500 per person. that was a few years ago. I suppose the price went up w/ demand. sounds like fun, but not at that price. i'd still like to do a hog hunt if the timing works

I only posted that to show how ridiculous the pricing has gotten. No way would I do that...

Does that include a full load out of AMG-22's?

My shooting/range buddy Billy went down last weekend (President Day) for a four day "piggy" hunting....here is what he saw and got:

Well, they have been thinning the hogs out over the last year. ~ 85 killed.  Apparently they have relocated or become mostly nocturnal. I did manage to get a ~160lb sow on Fri evening.  ~178yd shot with the 6.8 – high shoulder thru the spine with nice exit hole.  Dropped and flopped!  The other 2 ran off and I missed a running shot (offhand) as they went into the woods.

Saw 3.8 million deer and a dozen turkeys.
