I get to Watkinsville area 3/26 and return home 3/30. How far are you from me that week? Maybe we could hook up?

Are you hunting on a friends place or is it a pay hunt? I would love to go hog hunting again if I can find a place that is affordable. If its a pay hunt, give us the details and review when you get back.

Have a great time!!!

Suuuuuuuhhhh-weeeeeet!  Good luck on taking out them hogs.  It's been 3 years since I hog hunted outside of San Antonio, Texas.  It was a blast and great to take home some bacon!                     ()*$%RT

I'd be seriously interested in that - have always wanted to give hogs a go.  Traveling for me is a bit tentative now due to some family constraints but I'm interested nonetheless.  If we could find a landowner who really wanted some help thinning out his herd I think we could make this a win-win situation.  Here in IL we're blessed (so far) with very few piggies so I don't have any contacts in this area.

you are pretty much going to have to go south to really get into them. Ga, Al, Ms, La, Tx. and we would probably have to do a pay hunt but the pricing on hug hunts is very affordable.  Ill see what I can do about getting a group hunt next year sometime...

I know it would add to the costs, but see what a helicopter hunt would be. ever since I planned a wolf hunt in AK from a chopper, I got the bug. that hunt was shut down before it happened unfortunately

wouldn't it be a hoot blasting hogs from the air? the action would be fast and furious. after all, eradication is the main goal, right?

Yari - I started my career working on helicopters (Apaches) and vowed never to fly in one, but I've set that rule aside for the purpose of piggy blasting - that just looks like way too much fun to pass up!
