My Georgia Turkey mount is ready!
« on: January 09, 2017, 07:08:14 PM »
That big Tom I got last year (as seen in my profile mug shot) is ready!  ##$%#14 Since  I will be back in Georgia for  the March opener I told the Taxidermist to hold it and I will pick it up and drive it back. No sense if it could get damaged or lost if mailed! As that was my best Tom ever, I want to be careful! I have high hopes for a fun hunt in March but do not expect to top my 2016 success. Still, gonna be fun getting back to Georgia.

Next plan is working on a deer hunt back in Bama next January. Hard to find a property since my Bama buddy died ( Bama, class of '69) but hopeful i will find something. His kids are grown but inviting an old foogie like me is nit in the card. Maybe 'cause I remind them of hunting with their dad. There were plenty of seasons where big snowstorms came through but with my FD exoerience and my suburban, I git thorough without issues! Looking at a Lions sponsored Charity hunt. $$$$ but Bama was were I got my first rack buck! God, I miss Bama!

Hey, tonight ROLL TIDE !!!! ##$%#14
