Youth and wildlife program
« on: November 30, 2016, 09:57:36 AM »
I have been heavily involved in many aspects of the outdoors and the outdoor industry for many years. As I grow older, I have seen my interests move more towards getting the youth involved in hunting and fishing and less of personal hunting goals. I have also become very interested in wildlife management and supplemental feeding. My goal is to create a youth friendly environment for them to enjoy the outdoors as well as learn more about how to grow and maintain a healthy wildlife population.

I have setup a GoFundMe page to help offset the expenses of doing this. I know times are hard for everyone and my goals may be unrealistic but without trying, without taking that first step, no goal can be achieved. I have taken that step. If you are able to donate, I would be very grateful. I would also be extremely grateful if you can pass this link around to friends and family via facebook, twitter or email.

Thanks

Great idea HM!!  My career has been mostly working with children and adolescents in Group Homes and Psychiatric Hospitals.
I created programs that enriched as well as educated their lives and provided them with tools for future use.

Let me know when you get camps set up and ready, I will be more than willing to make it a fun, cooperative and learning time.

P.S. Finally getting some good rain here!  We had several fires started by arsons!!  71% have been committed by arson!!

My goal is to create an environment that is wildlife abundant and have stands and trails that are kid friendly. Warm, easy to get to, and comfortable. Then, we can take a few kids, maybe local, maybe some through someone like B4k, on hunts that are safe and fun. It wont be camps. it will be individual kids. but we are a long way from being ready. its an idea I would like to see turned into reality so I am starting the process....
