I use a 12ga remington 870 express pump. Would like to own a black eagle my friend owns one and they are sweet! They are a little to pricey for me though. I would like something that would shoot 3 1/2's.   -0078

Just bought a Super Nova also. I really like it. I've already taken some geese with it. That's me in the middle...

That looks like a great outing.  If you have the same experience as me, you will like that Nova more and more every time you use it.....and clean it.  I just love mine.

My standby has been a Remington 1100   (2 3/4") for several decades. It's seen several barrels over the years, from a 30" Trap barrel w/vent. rib to a Hastings Rifled barrel w/cantilever scope mount, a 20" smoothbore slug barrel, a 22" vent rib barrel w/choke tubes..... It really has taken a huge pile of assorted game over the decades!  From jacksnipes to whitetails....   :-)
I also got in on that limited run of 16 ga. Ithaca 37 a few years ago---sweet gun, 25" barrel w/choke tubes.  Then there is the 16 ga. Iver Johnson Champion just like the last gun my Grandpa ever used and a rough 16 ga. Winchester 37 Red Letter that I'm carefully refinishing.

Now that I finally have a for real bird dog (Brittany) I'll probably get into shotguns even more!   :-)

I really appreciate Ray Scott letting me know about this site!!!  I hope to be able to contribute in a positive way, share some experiences (old & new) and maybe make a few friends!  I'm in SW lower Michigan....     :-)

Remington 1100 Semi.  I have had it for years.  Love that gun. I have used several others but keep going back to the 1100.

Have an OLD Winchester Model 1400 semiautomatic that was passed down to me from my father-in-law. He was an avid duck hunter. It's a bird gun, so permanently plugged for two shells in the tube, one in the chamber. Comes with a long barrel and short barrel both with fully adjustable Poly Chokes installed on them. A little rust here and there, but in great shape for it's age and what it has weathered!

I use a 20 gauge Benelli - what a sweet gun!  I've also used a 12 gauge Remington 1100 and a 20 gauge Remington 1100.  I would like to get a break open shotgun but not sure if I want an over/under or side by side.

Remington 12 ga. Mohawk 48, I traded my dad a calf for it when I was 12 years old.  Any body ever even heard of one.
