Foggy Morning
« on: May 03, 2016, 05:33:27 AM »
Hunted yesterday heard 4 gobbler in the rain and one fawn eater tried to get our decoy wasn't fast enough for a shot.  Today nothing yet but it is real Foggy yet

Good luck...I haven't heard a gobble since I shot the Tom...but do have 2 others on cams and one that shows up at 6pm. I Roosted him across the street last night...but no sign of him this morning...pea soup arrived as the sun got a bit higher...can't see a thing... I had 5 of the 6 hens come walking through under cover of the leading end of the fog...That was really something to watch...they kept pace with the movement of the fog bank...Wonder what happened to the 6th hen....It is dang cold out there with a hard frost on everything this morning,,,it was a whopping 34 this morning ...36 now.

Well ended the day did not hear a peep the fog lifted around 9 to 9:30 am and as we were leaving at noon which is our deadline in Ny we saw a big gobbler at the end of the lot and a hen across the road. Better luck in a week and a half when I get back from Baltimore

Sounds like a plan in the making when you return! Good luck with them!
