What is our final tally for the trip? Bugfixer might, maybe, possibly, get to come but he wont know until much closer to trip time. Are we booked up or is there room for another?

I think DH's list from a couple post back is the most current list plus DLR which I think puts us at 8.

DOH Kyle was counted twice. Eight will be a little crowded but we can always rotate players.  Not sure if the Capt has a limit for the boat, ask Gut when he gets back from the Beach.

looks like 7 with DLR. Bug would make 8 if he comes. hes not sure if he can but its a possibility. would 8 be too many? Absolutely NOT.

Everyone bring along some tackle and we'll rotate shifts on the boat and on shore fishing the harbor. We'll rotate morning and afternoon shifts on "Rippin' Lips". Or both morning shifts when each boat load has a boat limit of fish. Show be a really fun time.

Here's the roster as I can best count:  ##$%#1119
1. MI_Bowhunter
2. wvwhitetail
3. Hunt Master
4. Kyle
5. Gutshot
6. Dutch
7. DLR
8. Bugfixer

I'm planning to arrive around 5:00 AM on Monday 4/17. I'll park by the Marathon (I think) station. Also believe the restaurant's name is Captains Cove great breakfast place and they start serving at 6.  ##$%#111 I'm SOOOO looking forward to this. Don't forget your rain gear (after two years I finally learned!) and some warm clothing.

What type of tackle would be recommended for fishing off of the dock?

I'll probably pack the cornhole boards again this year in case we limit out early.   ;D

There are bass in the marina and you may pick up a walleye. Any spinner baits or lures, some soft plastics as well.

Cornhole would be good also. I'll bring the Food Saver again.

Buy your licenses online to save time:

https://oh-web.s3licensing.com/

$19 for non-resident 3 day or $40 for the whole year!!

Print it out and stick it your wallet, pocket, or whatever you carry everywhere, and then you don't have to worry about it when you get there.    ##$#@#$% ^^&&$%GT

I might also add (Sorry if you already know all this, just throwing it in as much as a reminder for myself as to ideas for others.)

Waterproof/resistant shoes or boots would be a good idea as well as rain gear.    We ended up with some water in the back of the boat last year and I am glad I had my boots to keep my feet dry.

Dramamine - I typically do not get sea sick but fishing on the great lakes it can get pretty rough so I always take them as a proactive measure.

Camp chair, bucket or something to sit on in case we end up fishing on the dock at some point.

Munchies and beverage for the boat.   I usually take granola bars/trail mix and water.

I am also going to pack a canopy or two just in case we need them as well.
