3 snowy Jakes

I have a blind in this area and the turkeys have been tearing up this section of woodlot all winter(oak beech maple) So I put a cam in front of the blind facing 2 trails....Yes the date is correct...winter isn't done with us on the hill quite yet @--0--0137

I have 73 1/2 acres and I'm surrounded by farm fields and others hunting lands...I'm sure those big toms are out there some where..I just put that cam up two days ago....They were probably held up in any one of 3 pine forests bordering us. it's been a tad cold snowy and windy here.

winter isn't over. there are talking 10-12" in parts of MN and WI tomorrow. I'm glad the turkey season hasn't started here

Good pictures, it's always smart to hunt where you know the birds are. We are waiting for April 30 to get after them here. Hopefully there won't be any snow around by then.

pulled the cards on a few other cams the other day...The good thing about having a bunch of them running is I now know their late day travel patterns...thus roosting area.... -010-9-8
