Yote had a very bad day
« on: November 23, 2019, 06:44:01 PM »
Well went deer hunting today , being the t\first day of gun season . Got to the blind at 6:45AM ready to set all day in my box blind . Well no deer seen all day but about 12:30PM off to the side of my blind I see movement , it was a yote , by the time I saw it it was moving into heavy brush but turned around and headed back were it came from well after about 30 seconds I had a shot with my PA-10 308 win with my deer load of a 150gr SST . When i took my shot my ar reminded me why I should of had my earmuffs on . I thought that I had missed because it just kept on walking . Then I remembered at a missed yote is in the next time zone in 3 seconds , looked at where I took the shot and said O MY There was a pool of blood 1 1/2 feet around and a wide trail of blood leading into the swamp . I guess 1one 308 SST+DEAD yote . here's a picture I took of point of impact 3 hours later .
