Thanks to everyone it was great and makes all the long hours working the land worth while.  Zlong the deer in our area are just starting to rut.  Lots of new rubs and pictures of bucks chasing does and a few new bucks running around.

I love what you and your son have done!!  Makes me envious, I really miss huntin' with my son.  He just turned 38, he killed his 1st buck when he was 9 years old.  He went to college, got a job, been at it for 15 years, got married, expectin' a baby boy in a few months, but he hasn't been in the deer woods with me since 1998 :'(, enjoy it while you can and hope your son can have a career close to home!

Treefarmer...I was blessed to get to hunt with both of my sons this year and my 74 year old Dad.... My son's are 26 and 24 and I always enjoy hunting with them.  Its one of the reasons I bought the land and work so hard to makes the fields work....Luckily my oldest lives 5 minutes away and I get a couple of hunts a year with him
