My Son's 1st big buck
« on: January 17, 2016, 08:16:38 PM »
My son has hunted with me since he was 12 and has killed a spike and several does but has never had any luck with seeing a buck.  I called and asked him to go with me Saturday since there was some rut activity going on....at about 5 pm with 4 does and a spike on the greenfield this 9 pt walked out.  Josh's shot was a little far back but the buck dropped where it stood...If you look at his face you can see he is excited... and I was thanking God that the buck came out on his field....I'm glad I was there with him for his 1st big buck!

Congrats to your son, Hef,  that is a very good first buck, and the fact you were together makes it even more special.
