Coyote down
« on: December 06, 2015, 02:51:31 PM »
On my way into town and saw 3 coyotes out in a Alfalfa field. I ranged the closest at 576 yards. I set the turret to 575 yards and took aim by leaning on the front of my wheeler. The yote was laying down facing away from me. The yote jumped up at the shot and started spinning. Then it ran slowly about 50 yards and layed down. I set the turret to 650 yards (I guessed) and shot at another yote but missed. The first yote jumped back up went about 30 yards and died. I couldn't get across the ditch so I couldn't recover the Coyote. That is the first animal I shot at with the .204 Ruger. I hope to get a chance at the other 2 before the winter is over.

 ##$%#11                        Great job!                         ##$%#11

I will be on a mission to take down as many as I can.  It's been eery listening to them from all around me when I've camped out to hunt deer.    ()*$%RT (*&^&%#
