that's just the opposite from what I heard on the news. I heard licenses were down and the harvest numbers were way down.

i'm done w/ gun season and was blanked if that's any indication

Our 16 day firearm season ends tomorrow.  Since opening day, I have only missed 5 days of hunting, and have yet to pop a cap.  Really hoping that will change tomorrow morning.   the deer are just not coming in close enough for a shot.

Started reloading my own ammo to save money 35 yrs ago.  Should start saving money anytime now.

Another prime example of media mania. This years gun season is a dismal failure. Numbers are all down except for hunter accidents.

The DNR reports that the deer harvest is up from last year.   What they don't tell you is last year was the lowest harvest in recent history.   
But it was still a fantastic year for me because I got to watch my son harvest his first buck.   :)
