While looking out the kitchen window, I spotted a chuck about 50 yds behind the house.  Since I have been having a bit of trouble with the 22 RF, I thought I would try the other .22, namely my AR, and my reloads. So I went to my favorite spot, and waiting for Chuckie to position itself, I spotted a second chuck about 10 yds from the house.  I quickly shifted my aiming point to a spot right below the shoulder blades and squeezed the trigger.  Boom, and the chuck just dropped on the spot.  Amazing what a 55 gr SP traveling about 2800 fps will do.  I will post a picture tomorrow of the hole this critter has been using.

Here's a picture of the den the woodchuck was using.  We have a walkout basement, and we should have a retaining wall here.  However, the layout makes it very difficult to put something in place without expending a ridiculous amount of both cash and labor.  What you see is what the previous owners left me to work with.  Turns out a woodchuck liked it too well.  That's why it had to go.

Nice one Louie, I'm trying partner, I'm not allowed to discharge a firearm where I live, but if I get the chance I'll poke one with gold tip off the old Hoyt.  %^$^

You get one with a stick and string, I think you should get 2 points for that one!
