They sure tank up on salt this time of the year! They used the trace mineral block all winter.
Kinda like an ice cream parlor for them!! ##$%#1114

they love the salt. make sure to add some minerals. salt alone isn't very beneficial

They will be after it all summer. I use 50 pound mineral blocks and place them in a clay based soil. I've got a pour site started at our club 7 years ago. It's as big as the hood on a truck and they start hitting it  in early March and used them until October. I've never seen them do alot with them come the rut and after until Spring. Great place to put a Trail Cam. The bucks should start on them soon.
