soft plastic guru on Lake Erie
« on: April 05, 2015, 08:49:22 AM »
It was a busy day in preparing the boat for launching into the 2015 walleye hunt on Lake Erie, The launch was successful as was the short trial run with a couple of lines hanging over the sides of "Rippen Lipz"

Here we go, the start of the 2015 fishing season on Erie.

Yari the two large ones were 27" and 29",

As for jigging, we use only Bruiser Jigs this time of the year when the spawn is on and cooler water temps. Later on in the season we will change over to worm harnesses. We saw some really nice lunkers that others caught also.

I'm ready to get this on too. That was just a trial run, looking for fish, but more to see where the icebergs were floating around.

It's all good now and with a few more days of warm weather to bring up the water temperature we should fill some coolers.

Just wanted to bring it up again, it looks like the launch date for Rippin Lipz and soft plastic guru is going to be March 19, 2016. With little to no ice on the lake it's going to be an early tune up on the walleye. Getting ready for Walleyeblast 2016.

Bring it on, we need some freezer stock.  ##$#@#$%  ##$%#1115 ##$%#1115
