2014 Euro mount
« on: December 11, 2014, 07:32:17 AM »
Here is a pic of the Euro mount I made from the buck I killed in bow season this year.  I boiled and scraped the meat off, washed with dish soap to remove grease, then brushed several coats of bleach on it with a paint brush after it dried.

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

Looks good!  my experience with bleach, and I assume you meant laundry bleach, tended to make the bone yellow.  Using hydrogen peroxide really makes them white.  The stuff hairdressers use is a lot more potent than the stuff you get at a pharmacy.  I have some but I haven't used it yet.  I'll have to take a photo of mine and post it.
