good night hunting
« on: November 14, 2014, 07:24:48 PM »
I can't get to my cabin because of the massive early snow plus lake effect snow. hunted my dad's place. I didn't even get into my stand at 2:30 and saw legs. that went on until 4:30. I couldn't keep track of all the deer. 4 bucks(3 year old bucks and one 3 year old buck) the 3 yr old was a nice 8 pt. maybe 120-125". he was chasing from 3:30 until 4:30. there were flags all over as the boys were running the does hard.

it was great fun. this was like the cabin use to be before the wolves and bears took over. I just wish there wasn't so much road noise. i'll be out all day again tomorrow. can't wait

good luck to all

Nice to hear that there are deer running around. Sorry to hear about the snow at your place.  Good luck.  Looking forward to our opening next Friday.

since i'm long on meat and short on freezer space, I have a 140" that I have on cam that will do. I passed on a nice 8 pt that is 120-125"(3-4 year old) this weekend a few different times this weekend. he is running does hard. I hope he doesn't push the bigger bucks out w/ his aggression.
