When its bad out use my Reminton 1100 ,and my Ruger M77 .308, Thompson Encore  .308 and finally my HR 12 guage with bull barrel for three inch mags are with me at camp for something different.

Kingowish, my first shotgun was an 1100.  I wish I still had it, traded it off for a Remington 700 in 30-06.  I still have that one, and won't get rid of it.

I used the 358WSSM and my son used the 30-30cal. pistol. My daughter is using the 20ga H&R single shot.
That 358 WSSM wildcat is a little thumper on whitetails... @--0--0123

I'm hunting with my new Ruger gunsite Scout .308 this year.  No luck so far, though.
Retired after 34 yrs. on Jacksonville (Fl.) Police Dept.  19 yrs. in patrol and last 15 yrs. in C.S.I.
Now I can hunt and go bass fishing anytime I want!  Started deer hunting in 2007 but, had many years as a teen hunting rabbits and squirrels.
