Dave driving home at 12:30 there were 3 deer just casually feeding across and open feild......they still gotta eat...So, were these planned days off or a rotation at work....for I have been tracking the weather and this rain has been in the forecast for the past 2 weeks @--0--0117

your welcome Dave  --099-780 I didn't want the rain here

I have seen a lot of deer out feeding during a light to moderate rain.  Better get your rain gear out

The rain has just started here

I shot one of my biggest bucks in the pouring rain! (10 pt) I had just finsihed a cup of coffee and a sandwich and jokingly asked myself, "Am I having fun yet?" It was just dumping rain and foggy. Well a few minutes later I was having fun! Get out the rain gear and hunker down and you just never know! Good luck!

Yes, rain could wash out a blood trail quickly and with a bow you are a bit more likely to need to follow a blood trail

I Won't hunt in heavy rains ...but have taken some very nice buck mid morning in light drizzled. If you as an archer have confidence in knowing when to shoot and placement a little drizzle should not keep you in. I  track the radar right up until I leave...things Change quickly in weather reports.

I remember when Gortex rain gear came out and I bought a set from Cabelas . I was in a tree stand in the morn at dark and endured pouring rain. At around 11 am it let up and the sun began to break. At decent sized but scrub rack buck came out of the hard woods and began to rummage thru the cut corn fields...He was meandering toward me as I readied a shot....some Kid steps out his house and shoots across the street at the buck in the field before me. Thank god I was in a tree and not on ther ground....Of course he missed and I let him have it when he walked over....Now I probably would have him arrested.
