I'm thinking about them birds right now. I have seen so many during the deer season. That gets me all pumped up.

Well as soon as I apply for Turkey tag its on the back of my mind, and now since the only thing I have coming into my shooting lanes are 2 fawns my season is pretty much done.  So as soon as I find out if I get drawn for a tag, its all I can think about.  I love turkey hunting.  I havent got one yet, I have been going for 3 years, but I have finally found a sweet spot that should get me one this year  @--0--0101

I was just out at my property yesterday to cut some firewood and busted a flock of at least 40 .... now I will be thinking about them at least daily until the season!

1adam12 - is there a draw in Wisconsin?  Is it tough to get a tag?  Good luck this year.

Not sure we stop thinking about them, even when I'm deer hunting I'm always looking for the ambush site and the perfect set up in the areas that we hunt. @--0--0121

I'm always thinking about this one gobbler the past two years he's deep back in the old mine slashes{ I live in coal country where they strip mined years ago} it makes it very tough to get to him. Our season is not very long either , but me and uga 28 will be after him again this year . The tough ones make it that much more rewarding to me though. Otherwise I start thinking about turkey hunting around the middle of December after I have a good supply of deer meat in the freezer and the bucks have all but disappeared.

I am thinking about turkeys all the time, if I am not out scouting for hunting season then I am working my land to improve the habitat and food plots for them...

I build my own trail cameras and have some out almost year around to see the different animals that frequent the area. I have even used then to catch a couple less desirables that were trespassing and hunting.
