i start thinking about them in the early spring, looking for roosts etc. when i prepare new stand trees for deer or fix up approaches etc. to stands

Ditto... I think I talk about turkey hunting year round. I think I enjoy turkey hunting more than deer hunting...if that is possible.

Almost every day or two. This year, we saw more turkeys in the deer woods than ever before. It should be a great spring if the winter isn't to harsh. I cannot wait as it is one of my favorite things to do in the woods. I just ordered another slate call from a friend who has won the World championship of calls two times. Can't wait to get it.

Year-round. Wish I could hunt more for turkeys. Scout turkeys during deer season.
