Deer really hitting the fields early in the morning . I have been seeing several groups of does after sunrise hitting the fields for what ever they can find . But over all they look like they made through last winter pretty good .

I must say I have not seen a lot of deer any where which surprises me cause we have a ton of deer here.

I'm seeing the same group of 6 pretty often here at the house.  That ground I burned off a couple of weeks ago has greened up very nicely and they're all over it.  Concerned though, I don't see any convincing signs that they're carrying fawns - hopefully they're just not showing yet.  The buck population here has taken an extremely hard hit with the bluetongue situation, I sure hope these ladies got bred.  Two for sure are mature does, I'm not sure if all four of the others are last year's fawns or not (at least two are, based on size).  Hoping to get some Imperial Clover planted this afternoon, with rain coming tomorrow & the weather finally turning nice, hopefully we'll have some good stuff for them shortly.
One of God's greatest gifts to us is
the great outdoors - get out there
and enjoy it!
