Looks promising.
« on: April 10, 2014, 08:34:54 AM »
Been reading where in many parts of the state the turkey population is down. But for those heading up to the areas of 2G AND 2H in the area of southern Potter County and McKean County the population is very healthy. It seems everywhere I go I see flocks of turkeys out strutting about. Definitely seems to be a lot of gobblers and some really big ones at that. Things should be perfect for hunting season as the weather is just warming up causing the birds to get active.

That sounds great, I'm heading that way tomorrow. Going to drown some worms or at least throw some lures at them on Saturday. Maybe I'll run into you somewhere. Did the Stevenson Dam thaw out yet or are they still ice fishing?  --099-780 Seriously

It finally thawed out. The streams are running fairly high yet. But at least you'll be able to go fishing after that never ending winter.
