my daughter sent this to me last week of turks not 4 miles from my house (about 100) in a lot along the road.

Yup, they bunch up for the winter, and come next spring, well, it can be tough finding them!

Went out shed hunting today...no sheds but I did see a group of three long beards and one was struttin around like he was the king...no hens in sight but they're getting ready...Come on May 1st!

Sharon and I went to town to do a bit of shopping yesterday around 9 AM. We saw a group of 3 large Toms in full display each with 8 or 9 hens near them and one huge tomt (beard was dragging on the ground) chasing a hen. They were about 3 miles from the house.  On the way home there were two smaller toms displaying in the same area

I saw a mess and a bunch of Jakes yesterday...Looks like Spring has sprung and there coming out in full strut @--0--0118
