It was so cold the deer were huddling around my outdoor woodstove.

It's been cold here too, but my deer can't leave the bird feeder long enough to huddle around my outdoor furnace!! --099-780

I feel sorry for them.  watched a doe go across, behind the barn, and her belly was dragging on the snow.

Wait until all their friends get the good news, you will have a mess on your hands. My bet is they are looking for warm as much as food these days.
