Cool!  You just never know what you're going to see.   I was out deer hunting one time, while I spied a doe walking along a ridge in my property.  I took my eyes off her for a second, and when I looked back she had disappeared.  I couldn't figure out where she had gone.  About 30 minutes later, 3 does came out and I took a shot at one of them.  She dropped right away.  As I stood there admiring the doe, I heard a commotion behind me, and it was the doe I had seen earlier.  She had bedded down about 55 yds from my blind, just on the backside of the ridge.  The blast didn't seem to bother her, but my appearing finally unerved her enough to cause her to flee.
