Fun Day With The Boys
« on: September 14, 2013, 11:29:39 PM »
We played some fall baseball today. This was their first experience with kid pitch. They did pretty well winning one and losing one. Logan got his chance on the mound today and did well. Our pitcher got tired and I had no one else to turn to. Logan stepped in and shut it down. He retired two batters to end the inning. I was pretty proud of him. First time ever pitching and he sat them down.  I was also surprised.

After the gAmes his buddy Gunner came over and spent the day. We ended up going dove hunting. It was slow but we had some fun. Logan shot one bird. Cole my 6 year old gavem heck with his BB gun. We hunted by a pond. A few minutes before dark the dove hunt turned into a frog hunt.  Cole bagged two frogs with his BB gun.  Lol

What a great afternoon for the boys!

Way to go on his first time out pitching! My son also just started kids pitch this year and we're wrapping up our fall ball season too. Any kids first time pitching is a nerve-wracking experience. Massive props to him for finishing the inning like that!  @--0--0123
