Piebald Blacktail Deer
« on: August 13, 2013, 12:59:01 AM »
Saw this guy last year as a fawn. Only got a small blurry pic due to not having a good camera on hand when he came through our yard twice. (Yeah, not even our cellphones were nearby, figures eh?)

Anyway, our neighbors down the street saw him today and were able to snap a pic! Was delighted to see that he was still alive as he's got quite a cool color to him.

Nice looking coat, Cuz!    He'd blend in well with some of the cattle around here!!

Very nice color. If he gets grown he'll make a beautiful mount.

Well, our neighbor lives in one of the suburban neighborhood developments with houses on .25ac parcels and a few green belts. No hunting up there! Seems he's got it figured out.  @--0--0137

/a frustrating number of deer and elk in town have this figured out actually...  ;D
