Well boys after much negotiating and honey do list growth Mr Double Droptine is hung and located better than I ever expected. I wanted to hang him in the living room rather than in my shop or my sacred harvest room. He is the only trophy on display in the living quarters of our home. In actuallity Mrs. DH thinks he's pretty cool. Whew that's a load off. He is overlooking my Grab & Go gun case in the living room. I've included a picture of it as well. These are my go to guns when I need to quickly have one in hand and out the door. From left to right: My granddads old Browning long Tom (32" barrel) 12 gauge, 18" barrel 22lr, Savage 110 7mm Rem Mag, Marlin semi-auto 22lr, Savage 110 243, and "Skunky" a Stevens 59B .410 bolf shotgun (my skunk gun).

Beautiful mount! Im with you...I also do not have any trophys in the house. But I would definitely have to make an exception for an animal like that.

Good gravy that is a nice deer!  I hope you did not damage the front of the truck too much when you got it.
