of you that planted winter grains are leaving them? I usually disc them in but this year I over seeded much with clover...which is working out pretty well.. and left others for a summer and or winter annual....it is 4ft high and fully headed out...I think that it will be great for turkey and poults once it matures and dries....may even use some for crafts...

I have some wheat that is still growing, I will shred it off in late July and sow winter greens in it late this summer. It will also make a good dove hunting spot.

And left others for a summer and or winter planting of annuals after the grains mature and are cut....I really need to dbl check before hitting send @--0--0116

it should work great. the only concern would be if the turkeys eat it before fall comes. let us know how it works
