Starting to Gear Up?

Now that turkey season is over or almost over for some, has anyone got their bow out and started to practice yet? We open in early September!

Yeah bear, I try to shoot some every day, but I have a new/used recurve I've gotta get used to.   Only 4 months or so to go!!!    Can't wait!!!!!!!

Been crazy busy this year.  Got a new Norwegian Elkhound puppy last November for my wife.  He has been so much fun that we got his sister from a different litter 3 weeks ago.  Lots of fun and I sure am glad all my gear is in great shape.  Only shot it a couple times but I will really start hitting it by mid June.  We open mid September here and I have got to be ready.  Canned up most of the Venison that we had so WE NEED MORE.

Have not touched my bow or crossbow since last season.  Need to get rolling with it again.  Thanks for the reminder.  Will start shooting again this weekend!

Is a 5# baby Robin fat? Of course the bow has been out. I took her in and had the peep adjusted and then retuned the sight. Now it's just shoot, shoot and shoot some more. Only 99 more days.  ;D

Went out and shot a few arrows last week. I've been having some trouble with the old shoulder. Only shot 8 arrows and I was wore out. Been looking at crossbows but have not pulled the trigger on one yet but I see one in my future. Our season starts in September one way or another I'll be ready!

I never stop shooting. I shoot all year long , from my basement in the winter to roaming my back fields with Judo points shooting at weed heads, grass clumps, leaves, etc. Add a few 3-D shoots in there and I've got the year covered. In fact, I never unstring my recurve!
Hunt hard,

Kill swiftly,

Waste nothing,

Offer no apologies.
