well, the boat is ready to go. the ice went out this week. only one problem, we are supposed to get 2-3" of rain the next couple days, 20-30mph winds and 40's. boat control could be tough.

my guess is the walleyes will still be spawning. it's a long season, so i won't kill myself if it's too nasty. i am itching to get out on the soft water though. they are still ice fishing 50 miles north of me. it's a crazy year.

the water on the river really came up. rain last night and snow since 2 pm today. 4-9" of snow coming today. my guess is it will be no wake for a few days. that's tough when you can only go 6-7 mph.
