Awesome !  Sweet shot on the groundhog too !  When you were posing with the bird and I saw the fan ,I thought,,,Thats a jake .....I was under the impression like you that jakes have the short feathers on the outside. If he's a jake he's the biggest I've ever heard of ! Great job !!!

I didn't notice the shorter feathers till I watched that same spot, I thought what ?  21lbs, over 1/2" spurs, longer thick ( what isn't broke off) beard ?  strutting in and alone. ?

I have a group of 4 jakes at this property, I saw them walking back in.   

Hey either way it was fun, got good video and now I'm free to film 4 other guys hopefully getting a bird ( one is my son !)

I get just as much a kick filming and calling as I do actually shooting
