My Double Droptine nearly done...
« on: April 16, 2013, 03:40:02 PM »
##$%#117 I'm excited! I stopped to visit my taxi today. He was working on my droptine. He's lookin' GOOD!  @--0--0123
I knew my taxi has been looking for a 1903 Marlin 22. Well it just so happened I have 2 of them so I took them along to do a little tradin'. They both had the 24" octagon barrels and in very good condition. He was so excited to hold them because they were just like his grandpa's that he learned how to shoot with. I told him to pick one and he could take some off of my bill. He said I'll take this one (S/N low 500's) and WHAT bill. I'm happy.  @--0--0123

While there I snap a few pics of some of his work. One very nice muley all done and three more muley's in progress. Three antelopes all done and lookin' fine.

Looking good Dutch. It will make a fine trophy. I was equally impressed with the cleanliness of the taxidermy shop. Most I have been in are on the filthy side.
