well. yesterday was a bust and so was this morning. Yesterday, we didn't hear a single gobble and this morning we had fog so thick you could cut it and no gobbles to be heard. I think the toms in our area just haven't gotten fired up yet so maybe next weekend. Me and my nephew still had a good time. I bought him a bow Friday and he has been practicing with it all weekend. Good weekend even if the turkeys didn't cooperate.

No gobbling yet in this part of NW Alabama. Been seeing a flock of about a dozen hens on my land, haven't seen or heard of a tom on the land. Where the women are at the men are sure to follow. April is when things will get interesting around here.

We had 3 of us in camp Friday, Saturday, and today and we hunted hard, but only heard one bird gobble all weekend. They just haven't found that loving feeling yet.

I hate it when that happens! (Goose, "Top Gun")

I have to wait till May!  even then, I won't be able to go hunting during the week.  I haven't worked long enough at my job to get paid vacation.
