Well it seems the Turkey's in Alabama haven't gotten fired up about spring yet. We didn't hear any gobbling all weekend, and from the reports I heard around the state, that seems to be the same for just about everyone. We went out Saturday afternoon to setup on a field that we knew turkey were filter through before going back roost, but when we got there the turkeys were already in the field. We try o setup and call to them but never got a response. Opening day for the regular season is this Friday (3/15/13) so hopefully they get fired up between now and then. I told Kyle the season was just starting, so he would get another opportunity to chase some turkeys.
