We made it home last late last night from the turkey hunt. My son and I didn't even see a tom during our hunt, but we could hear a few gobble on Tuesday. Birds are in the area, but just not our lucky days to get one. Monday was not to bad for weather, but Tuesday was rain and 30mph winds and Wendsday was on/off hard rain and 30+ mph winds with BAD storms.

My two buddy's that with us also each got real nice toms. One weighed over 26lbs and the other was right at 26lbs.

Yesterday me and my son went and the storms kept getting worse all day and when we finally called it a day at noon time was when we found out the area we was hunting was under tornado warnings.

When we made it home my son told me that he had a great time and would love to go again. So I call it a win for him and I.

As long as you both had fun, that's the deal, ligpd!     Nothing we can do about the weather or the Turkeys.   Sometimes neither one cooperates!!!!

Absolutely it's a win!  Y'all went and had quality time together. Sorry you had bad luck with the weather though.  Missouri is known for stormy weather in the spring.
