Getting fired up!
« on: October 27, 2012, 08:40:36 PM »
Had two different 6 pt bucks visit my backyard on two separate occassions, but what's getting me fired up is that yesterday afternoon, while putting some patio furniture away for the winter, I spotted a real nice buck on the neighbor's property across the road from me.  It was out quite a ways when I thought I had seen a deer.  After a few minutes of watching, I began to think it was a buck, then it turned his head and my suspicions were put to rest.  Its rack seemed to be as wide as its ears!  It was too far to count points, nor did I have time to get the binocs, but seeing such a nice buck was quite an experience.  I sure hope he comes back in  a couple of weeks.
