Well it looks like "Sandy" will be moving into my area on Sunday, this "Tropical Storm" will be moving in on Sunday and they are telling us that we will have sustained winds of 30 mph through Tuesday morning and rain totalling around 8 inches in my area by Wednesday mid day.  The bucks are making scrapes, rub lines and the yearling and two year olds are following the doe with that lovesick look in their eyes....what do you think?

Do not think it will matter.

We will be getting 50 mph winds here and the NC coast even more.  Bucks have been chasing does since last week, why would they stop??

Sandy will turn into a Northeaster for the upper northeast US.  It is combining with a low pressure cold front dropping down.  Going to be cooler next week, may have our first frost here.    @--0--0118

Hard to hunt in 80 degree temps this week!!!

Not seeing any activity here yet, but a big cold front coming in next week and that should kick things off pretty good. We have already had a few hard frosts. PJ you should be in good shape for your KY hunt. Good luck, we left a couple of big ones there for you  @--0--0123

If the Cold front makes it in possible not have any change..
If warm air stays around that will mess up your rut more..

Weather like that won't affect it....
I have seen our place flood out to where we had to wear waders into our deer stands and sit over basically a 1600 acre lake and still seen the bucks running does in it.

If it's crazy wind like they are calling for I think it will shut down the rut for a couple days. They have just started rubbing and scraping some in our area. It's been so hot they haven't been heavy over it. Cold front should follow the storm and ramp things up some!
