Where is the best place to find the Peep Eliminator TX? I had trouble finding a place to buy one online.

PM me your address, I'll send you one for free. I've got one I won, but I'll never put it on my bow. I'll try to remember to bring it back from the camp this weekend, we are going up to make a hog hunt Saturday.

I bought my Mathews Drenalin several years ago from a private bow shop. We picked out all the accessories for it right there. The same bow tech cut and fletched my arrows. I bought 2 dozen at the time (Beeman Ics hunters). I have not changed anything about my bow since the day I bought it. I've bought a few arrows but still use the same ones. The bow still shoots today as well as it did on day 1. So I see no reason to fix what ain't broke. I love my bow!

I have been using a peep eliminator for the last 6 or 7 years and until I read this thread, which caused me to google it(for whatever reason), I just realized I had it set up wrong. --7-8-9 @--0--0129 I have a hard time shooting at distances greater than 25 yards. I can group a baseball at 50 yards, but it takes a lot of concentration. A LOT!!!7!!!  ##$%#1119 Now I cant wait to go home after work and set it up correctly!!  --099-780 @--0--0123 @--0--0123 ##$%#115 ##$%#115 ##$%#115

I had the rear sights set to match my 20 yard pin, rather than my 50 yard pin. So instead of using my 50 yard pin as a reference I was using my 20. This was causing the peep eliminator to obstruct my view of the other pins. I had to file a slot to open up a viewing area. This made it possible to shoot 50 yards, but not easy.  I am happy to report that since fixing my sights, I am having much more successful practice sessions!!!7!!! I'll try to get pics on here to show yinz what I mean...

Can't say I have any new 'gadgets' that I use. I generally examine , think and search for reviews when a new gadget comes out. Is it one more piece of stuff I have to carry around or will it really work? I bought a Butt-Out tool last year but haven't used it yet. That is kind of like a gadget. I'll buy a new gadget if I really think it will improve my chances of getting a deer, not because it is a 'cool' gadget!

Geez I totally missed this one Bubba, sorry. I've bought a brand new bow here a month back so I'm not sure I'll even put one on it. There's a lot of people giving them away... makes me wonder how good they are.  @--0--0117

They're great once you figure out how to set 'em up.
