I have lost one that I can remember but the gut pile and drag marks kinda let me know that I got the job done. The first time I shot at a deer with my bow I put the SMACK down on a two foot stump it never moved an inch.

Glad to say, I've never lost a deer. Fact is I've never shot at a deer yet. Just got started with a bow. Got busted by a doe and I had a 6 point in my sights, but I was shaking so bad I didn't take a shot @--0--0101

Too many to count! --099-780

I am surprised that you think this to be somehow funny.  It is your responsibility to be patient and take the best shot possible, instead of just flinging arrows to see if your lucky. Practice, Practice, Practice is the name of the game in bow hunting. In waiting for the best shot. It Patience, Patience, Patience.

There is nothing funny about a wounded and dieing deer. If you believe there is, then you should give up bow hunting. IMHO
