The shot
« on: August 07, 2012, 08:38:41 PM »
I put out a trough feeder to try and get some pics of deer and feed them at my son's plot over the summer.  Hogs found the feeder and started to invade it several times a day.  My wife and I got up in the shooting house one evening and the hogs came in like clockwork.  She picked out the biggest sow and squeezed off a round.  At the same time, my camera had snapped a pic and you can see the bullet strike the dirt on the right side of the pic!  The left side is the big sow that she shot through and also killed a little porker that was standing on the other side of the sow.  This is one of the best pics I have ever gotten.  DT
