Hope Rage doesn't try and make Muzzy's mechanicals.    I like fixed blades.

Will be interesting to see where this leads.  More innovation?  Have been using Rage for the last few years.  No need to change at this point.

A lot of times when a buyout happens usually nothing happens to the product that was bought out. They just want to corner the market with two of the best selling broad heads available at this time. So I don't look for any change to the muzzy or rage.

I've had so many problems with rage and mechanicals in general the last couple years I just decided to switch from Rage mechanical back to a Muzzy fixed blade. Hope they don't change anything on the muzzy!

I like the "road less traveled". I use Magnus. (99.8% of the deer dropped in their track the other 2 deer went 40-50 yards max. Magnus Buzz Cut Stingers.

The have a pretty awesome warranty. If there break or bend or whatever; put them back in a blister pack and they send you a replacement set FREE. Have yet to do that in many years of using their broadheads!

Mechanicals I have tried with all the fiddling and "O" rings and whatever. No fuss with Magnus. Worth a look IMHO.

Muzzy isn't going anywhere, that's too popular of a BH. With Rage's new design I think it's just a matter of deversifying on Rage's part. Makes no never mind to me, I switched from Rage to Slick Tricks this year.  ;D
