cameras with me every time I leave the house....if I just wasn't doing such dirty and rough jobs....yesterday ..I took a back break from the garden and walked down to check where the logger had dropped trees on our place from the neighbors.....hhmmm he could have cleaned that mess up better ##$%#1119
Any how I'm walking along and see a flash of red.....so freeze and here comes this fat yearling doe...she spots me and starts the head bobbing ..but I'm not moving and she is being eating a live by deer flys...so here she comes and gets 10 yrds from me when I see 2 more lagging behind...they see her bobbing and weaving and know somethings up...finally the last one trots off...then the second...but the doe near me doesn't want to go...she continues a slow advance as I'm now being eaten and trying hard not to move...one of the other 2 snort way down in the woods and she turns and trots off...all three were big healthy does..then at 5:30 this a.m. I had a single doe spot me...I was pulling weeds and stood up to see her 15yrds away...she did the same thing yesterdays doe did...but trotted of snorting....pretty soon they'll let me walk by with out worrying about me...as long as we don't make eye contact... Last year I was able to walk with in just a few yards of deer in my travels through the property...as long as I kept me eyes down and a steady pace...they would just stand still and watch me walk past.....love this time of year....

Yes, the does this time of year do not seem to be bothered much by humans as long as we do not move to quickly
