Got the official notification that we drew an either sex Elk tag for Area #20 and we have booked our flight for Thursday September 6th and will return on Saturday, September 15th. Gives us a solid 7 days to hunt hard with the bow. Just bought 6 Easton Full Metal Jacket arrows and have been shooting 6-10 arrows three times per day. Got a real good deal with a flight right out of Rochester NY on Delta Airlines for $282 roundtrip which is very good. I know there will be a fee for one bag and the bow case but still I thought that was excellent. Have acquired some cow calls and just received today some mouth calls which I need to start working on. Got a good pair of leather hiking boots (waterproof) and will start breaking them in right away. Great deal on those, listed for $110- at Bass Pro and they had a sale with $50 off. They are very light and have a great deal of support. Sorry to carry on but this old man is pumped to hunt an animal he has dreamed about for over 50 years.

You carry on all you want Fox...that's going to be an awesome trip. Keep shooting and start walking a lot to break in those boots as well as get in shape. I know your pumped as I would be too!
