Thank you to all my talk hunting partners. Was just down in the basement shooting my bow and practicing my elk bugle. I am so excited about bowhunting elk during the rut I am working on it everyday so I will be more than ready. Went to the bow shop last week, had the bow all tuned up and ordered 6 new Easton Full Metal Jacket arrows made for elk. They are a bit heavier and will increase the kinetic energy factor. I will practice faithfully for the next three months. In two weeks, we will go to a range that has full size elk targets out to 50 yard. Thanks for all the well wished and I will keep you posted.
