I always enjoy having women coming out and sharing the woods with us.  They make great hunters.

Nice buck. Are you in a hunting club or private land?  Do you bow or rifle, or both?

Graet pics, I remember the blood all to well, and it was 17 years ago, the worst part about it was that it was a gut shot, Yuuuuuck. @--0--0130

Great pics... thanks for sharing. I was fortunate enough to get my first two bucks on deer cam also. I thought that was the neatest thing to see them on the hoof and harvested...then mounted. Too neat. Congratulations!!

welcome to the world of hunting youll never go hungry again, nice looking deer, a buck no less, great first one. you actually let them smear blood on your face?  thats pretty gutsy, i doubt i would have done it. hopefully you field dressed the deer or observed it. its a little gross, but its also fascinating, kind of like a high school science experiment.  the trick now is to get a bigger one and its the most fun to get the other people in camp to drag it out for you. thats when you know who your friends are --099-780
